Louis Malachane (1990, French) is a doctor who graduated from the universities of Versailles-Saint-Quentin (MD) and Paris 11 (Ethics).

During his medical studies, where he alternated between ambulatory care and hospital practice, Louis focused in particular on the problems of medical demography and the territorial organisation of healthcare provision, which were the subject of his final thesis.

At the same time, he completed his scientific curriculum with studies in ethics, during which he became interested in issues that crossed public ethics, public health and political philosophy. He approached ethical questions and issues raised by public health, prevention campaigns or vaccination.

He also conducts personal research on health aesthetics, from drugs promotion to prevention campaigns, from the struggles of patients associations to institutional communication, which are published on Graphic Healthcare.

Currently, Louis is the Chief Medical Officer of Leah, a telemedicine start-up. He is also involved in healthcare entrepreneurship and innovations as well as telemedicine research projects.

Also, since 2008, Louis likes to travel the world and take pictures, published on Digital Samizdat. He has a keen interest in contemporary art, photography, architecture and graphic design.
